What’s Your Story?
“You own everything that happened to you. Tell your stories. If people wanted you to write warmly about them, they should have behaved better.” – Anne Lamott
Meet Your Host
Is Your Story Right for the Porch?
We are real people with real stories and real lives to share with you. They aren’t always tied up in a bow, crisp and clean. Sometimes they get messy because a really good life is really messy. If you don’t tell your story on The Porch, please be sure to share it somewhere. If you do want to share your story here just click the link below to schedule a time with our host, Jill Davis.
You get to choose how you want to tell your story:
- Get professional coaching so you can tell a short story in its entirety.
- We’ll interview you and record and edit your story for production.
- Write your story out and we’ll read it for you with or without your name attached. This is often done to protect the interesting.
Our stories are meant to be shared but not meant for evangelizing or messaging or branding. They are for pure entertainment value.
Step on The Porch and share your story.
What’s Our Story?
We want to share all of your stories! The story of the person who’s traveled the world, to the one who’s lived in the same house since birth. Stories of coming out, falling in love, rejection, courage, tragedy and triumph. Grief and joy, laughter and tears, and everything in between. These are the stories of life, and all it brings with it.
This is the human condition: we learn from stories, create with them and connect through them. Life can be hard and it can be full of joy. Laughter and stories bring us together, give us hope and show us what’s possible.
So grab your tea, your cocoa, your whiskey or your wine: join us on the porch! New episodes will be released every two weeks.
